Moda in Pelle AW26 Women’s Footwear | Behind the Inspiration
Every collection begins with inspiration.
For Moda in Pelle AW26, our design team began by looking outward, researching the details, textures and references that would shape our latest women’s autumn/winter footwear collection. British heritage, military tailoring, romantic lace, rich leather, dark florals and unexpected finishes all began to form part of the season’s story.
From those early ideas, the collection was designed in-house and carefully crafted around contrast: polished yet practical, feminine yet grounded, familiar yet slightly unexpected. Classic women’s loafers and boots sit alongside elevated trainers, metallic finishes and animal textures, creating an AW26 shoe collection that feels collected over time rather than perfectly coordinated.
As the designs take shape, our creative team begins exploring how those original inspirations can be brought to life visually. Styling, texture, colour and mood become an extension of the design process. Heritage tailoring softens against lace, romantic details are grounded with leather, and familiar pieces are styled in more instinctive and unexpected ways.
It is a journey from research and inspiration through in-house footwear design and craftsmanship, building the visual world that will ultimately bring the Moda in Pelle Autumn/Winter 2026 collection to life.
